On Saturday April 28, 2012 the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children Division of Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine participated in the annual Cystic Fibrosis Walk. The Division of Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine is a Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Accredited Affiliate. Our team raised $2,000 individually, which contributed to the Great Strides campaign towards finding a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. It was a day filled with fun, games and raising awareness for this great cause. We would like to thank all of our team members, family and friends who came out to help support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Great Strides Campaign.

At Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children Pediatric Sleep Center we specialize in sleep consultations and studies encompassing the full spectrum of pediatrics, from neonates to adolescents. Our team consists of board-certified sleep physicians and certified sleep technologists who are also registered respiratory therapists.  Our Sleep Center is complemented and supported by the Pediatric Pulmonology Specialty Practice and staff.

We provide diagnosis and treatment for:

• Sleep disordered breathing, snoring or sleep apnea.
• Conditions that increase the risk of sleep disordered breathing (obesity, adenotonsillar hypertrophy, Down Syndrome and neuromuscular disease).
• Known sleep apnea that requires BiPAP or CPAP titration.
• Behavioral sleep disorders of childhood (the child that does not fall asleep or wakes up often at night).
• Parasomnias (sleep walking, night terrors and confusional arousals).
• Patients with possible sleep disordered breathing associated with ADHD and nocturnal enuresis.
