D. Wayne Jenkins, MD, MPH, Senior Vice President

Dr. Jenkins serves as Senior Vice President of Orlando Health and Orlando Health Physician Enterprise and is a member of the Executive Committee of Orlando Health. In his role, Dr. Jenkins has oversight of the Orlando Health Physician Group, the 500+ employed physicians and residents of Orlando Health, and he leads the executive team that is responsible for directing clinical integration and creating an Orlando Health Accountable Care Organization.

Dr. Jenkins is a member of the board strategy and quality committees of Orlando Health and is a board member of MD Anderson Cancer Center-Orlando. He received his medical degree from Vanderbilt University, completed his radiation oncology training at the University of Virginia and received a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Policy and Administration from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

Cynthia Powell, MD, President

Dr. Cynthia Powell serves as President of Orlando Health Physician Enterprise. As president, Dr. Powell oversees over 400 fully-integrated physicians representing over 40 specialties and focuses on delivering the best quality care to our patients in the physician practice setting. Dr. Powell. She received her medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine and completed her internal medicine residency at Orlando Regional Healthcare, serving as chief resident. She previously served as the medical director of both the Internal Medicine Academic Faculty Practice and Internal Residency Program Outpatient Center at Orlando Health.

Jennifer Endicott, Vice President Clinical Integration

Jennifer was appointed Vice President of Clinical Integration in June 2010.  She is responsible for the operations and business development of the Orlando Health Physician Enterprise.  Prior to joining Orlando Health, Jennifer served as Senior Vice President of Strategy Implementation for Navvis & Company, a national healthcare management consultancy focused on providing large health system clients with strategic planning and physician alignment support.  In this role she led a team of professionals in assisting hospitals with the development and implementation of physician collaboration and alignment models.  Jennifer received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida.

Anthony Lado, Chief Administrative Officer

Anthony serves as Chief Administrative Officer for Orlando Health Physician Enterprise. His previous roles include Corporate Director, Human Resources for the Orlando Health Physician Enterprise and Human Resource Director for Orlando Health’s Dr. P. Phillips Hospital. Prior to joining Orlando Health, Anthony held human resource leadership roles in various industries, including Fortune 500 and not-for-profit companies.  He received his Master’s of Human Resources from Rollins College and his Bachelor of Art degree from the University of Central Florida.  Anthony is a former board member of the Employer’s Association of Florida and serves in state and national human resource organizations.

Curt Pattee, Chief Financial Officer

Curt was appointed as the Chief Financial Officer for the Orlando Health Physician Enterprise in 2010. He previously served as the Chief Financial Officer of Orlando Health’s Medical Education programs. Prior to joining Orlando Health, Curt was a Partner in the Orlando office of Ernst & Young LLP, where he served many organizations in the healthcare industry. He received his Master’s of Business Administration as well as his Bachelor of Art degree in Accounting from Michigan State University. Curt is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Florida and serves as a member in many state and national organizations.

Mark E. Swanson, MD, Chief Quality Officer

Dr. Swanson serves as the Chief Quality Officer for Orlando Health Physician Enterprise. Prior to assuming his current role with Orlando Health, he served as the Chief Medical Officer for Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. Dr. Swanson received his medical degree from the Eastern Virginia Medical School and completed his pediatric critical care and anesthesia fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Dr. Swanson is board certified in pediatrics, pediatric critical care and health care quality management and has received his Master of Science in Health Care Management from the Harvard School of Public Health. He has been involved in volunteer activities for the past 15 years with the American Heart Association and has held leadership positions at the local, state and national levels.

Jessica Baird-Wertman, Corporate Director of Access

Jessica serves as the Corporate Director of Access for Orlando Health. She is responsible for improving access  to care for patients across the Orlando Health hospital system and throughout the Orlando Health Physician Enterprise. She has been with Orlando Health since 1996, and has served in a variety of leadership roles in HealthChoice, Managed Care, Medical Staff and Physician Practice departments. Most recently, she served as the Director for Non Faculty Practices. Jessica received her Master’s degree in Health Services Administration from the University of St. Francis.
