This week marks a monumental transition at MD Anderson Cancer Center Orlando, where for the first time in its history it welcomes in a new leader, a doctor who just happens to be on the list of “Best Doctors in America.”
Dr. Mark Roh took the reigns as MD Anderson Orlando’s President on May 21, taking over for Dr. Clarence Brown who is retiring from his post and taking on a new position with the Orlando Health Foundation. Dr. Brown had been at the helm of MD Anderson – Orlando for the past 21 years since the facility first opened its doors here in Central Florida.
Incoming President Mark Roh is an internationally renowned liver cancer surgeon who has been recognized by his peers as one of the Best Doctors in America every year since 1992.
Dr. Roh has also been named among the top one percent of physicians in the nation by US News & World Report and is on the American Cancer Society’s Florida Board of Directors.
