Jeffrey Bott, MD, is board certified in both general surgery and thoracic surgery. He serves as a cardiovascular surgeon for Orlando Health Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery, a part of Orlando Health Physicians Group. Dr. Bott received his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine. He completed his general surgery residency at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals in Atlanta, Georgia, where he served as chief resident. He then completed a cardio-thoracic surgery residency at the University College of Medicine. He has been featured in several publications, including The Journal of the Florida Medical Association. He is currently a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American College of Chest Physicians. He is also a current member of the American College of Cardiology, the Southeastern Surgical Congress, the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, the Southern Thoracic Surgical Association, the Florida Society of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeons and the Florida Thoracic Society.

Steven J. Hoff, MD, joined Orlando Health Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery in 2014. Board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery, his areas of practice include cardiac and thoracic surgery. Dr. Hoff received his medical degree from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore. He completed his internship in general surgery, a research fellowship in cardiac surgery, and a residency in cardiac and thoracic surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. In a private practice at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville until 2007, Dr. Hoff then joined the faculty at Vanderbilt. There, he spent several years developing and growing their programs in atrial fibrillation and coronary artery bypass as well as transcatheter aortic valve replacement. He served as an associate professor for clinical cardiac surgery in the Department of Cardiac Surgery and as surgical director at the Vanderbilt Center for Atrial Fibrillation. As a noted leader in his field, his research interest include minimally invasive and hybrid approaches to treating coronary artery disease and atrial fibrillation. He has been published in several medical journals, including The Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, The Annals of Thoracic Surgery and Journal of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Hoff is a fellow with the American College of Surgeons and American College of Cardiology, and a member of The Society of Thoracic Surgeons, the Southern Thoracic Surgical Association, and the International Society of Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery, and other professional organizations.

Mark Sand, MD, is certified by both the American Board of Surgery, as well as the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. He serves as a cardiovascular surgeon for Orlando Health Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery. Dr. Sand received his undergraduate degree and Masters of Science in Engineering from Purdue University in Indiana. He did an internship as well as his residency in general surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he also served as chief resident. He went on to complete a residency in cardiothoracic surgery from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he served as chief resident as well. He has been featured in several publications and written many book chapters, as well as presented at many national conferences. He is currently a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American College of Cardiology. He is also a current member of the, the Southeastern Surgical Congress, the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, the Southern Thoracic Surgical Association, the Illinois Thoracic Society, the Surgical Society of the University of Alabama and the American Heart Association.
