The Winnie Palmer Hospital Center for Advanced Gynecologic Surgery and Pelvic Medicine was established with the goal to partner expert physicians who specialize in minimally invasive surgery, complex gynecologic disorders, and pelvic floor dysfunction in order to provide comprehensive care in one office setting.

We are experienced in all facets of gynecologic care including laparoscopic, robotic and vaginal surgery and treatment of conditions such as endometriosis, symptomatic uterine fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding, chronic abdominal and pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, and urinary incontinence.  We also treat complex vulvar disorders such as vulvodynia and vestibulitis and offer a full range on in office procedures such as hysteroscopy, essure, urodynamics and cystoscopy.   The center also specializes in total and supracervical hysterectomy, fertility sparing myomectomy. and much more.  Our goal is to make your gynecologic visits educational, easy, and patient-centered.

Dr. Jessica Vaught is a fellowship trained laparoscopic and robotic surgeon and is the director of the Minimally Invasive Surgery Department at Winnie Palmer Hospital.  She has partnered with many physicians in the community to implement advancements in the field of gynecologic surgery on a local and national level.  She has been instrumental in improving the surgical outcomes and options for women at Winnie Palmer Hospital since her arrival in 2007.

Dr. Bela Kudish is the director of the Urogynecology Division at Winner Palmer Hospital.  She completed an ABOG/ABU accredited fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.  Dr. Kudish specializes in a wide range of procedures and therapies focusing on pelvic reconstruction and incontinence.  She specializes in pelvic floor dysfunction including pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, overactive bladder and defecatory dysfunction.

Dr. Liza Colimon has recently joined Dr. Vaught and Dr. Kudish.  After some years in practice she returned to fellowship and completed an accredited fellowship through the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists  in minimally invasive surgery with an  additional emphasis on pelvic pain and vulvar disorders such as vestibulitis and vulvodynia and research methodology.   She feels it is important to focus on patient education and emphasizes a patient-centered approach in optimizing treatment options for women.

The goal of our practice is to be a resource for patients as well as referring physicians who are looking for a place where more advanced minimally invasive surgical options are offered as well as treatments for pelvic pain, vulvar disorders and pelvic floor dysfunction. The center aims to work closely with primary care physicians and neighboring OB/GYN’s as a resource.  We feel our physician partners and patients are like family.  Welcome.
