Orlando Health Infectious Disease provides comprehensive services for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases caused by microbes (bacteria, fungi, viruses and protozoans) and larger agents of disease. Faculty physicians are held to the highest standards to qualify to teach other doctors. They also are supported by a system offering constant information on the latest research in medical care, testing and surgical techniques.
Our physicians in this practice are faculty experts specializing in providing compassionate diagnoses and treatment of complex conditions such as hepatitis, pneumonia, meningitis and AIDS. Our practice offers multidisciplinary programs in research, clinical practice and education as well as clinically oriented fellowship training. Services are provided on both an inpatient and outpatient basis through physician consultation with a collaborative clinical and academic relationship, allowing our patients to receive state-of-the art care.
