In a recent article about the popularity of the drugs among younger Floridians, Timothy Huckaby, MD, addiction medicine specialist and medical director of the UF & Shands Florida Recovery Center at Orlando Health, discussed reasons kids believe the drugs are safe as well as their dangerous potency.
Fellow Orlando Health doctor, Josef Thundiyil, MD, emergency medicine physician and toxicologist at Orlando Regional Medical Center, relates the different medical conditions these drugs can cause.
