George F. Ellis, MD, MMM, FACS, serves as a member of South Seminole Hospital Urology. Dr. Ellis also work with the Urologic Oncology Department at MD Anderson Cancer Center Orlando. He is board certified by the American Board of Urology.

Dr. Ellis graduated medical school cum laude and received a Master's degree in Medical Management from Tulane University. He served his internship and residency at the State University of New York Health Science Center, Syracuse. He served as Instructor and Clinical Assistant Professor of Urology at the University of South Florida, after completing his fellowship at the same institution. He is also a founding faculty and Clinical Assistant Professor of the Florida State University - Orlando campus.

In his spare time, Dr. Ellis gives back to the community by providing health services to the uninsured at the Orange County Medical Clinic. He also gives back to and is a member of many professional organizations including the American Medical Association, American College of Surgeons, American College of Physician Executives, the Florida Medical Association. He also serves as an officer of the Orange County Medical Society, where he served as President in 2006.

Dr. Ellis has many published medical articles and book chapters, and has received many awards and honors, including Orlando Health's Exemplary Physician Colleague Award in 2011.
